The Wellness Centre is a dedicated space for students to lounge, read, and relax. You will find an assortment of wellness books, activities, and games for well-needed restoration.
Our Wellness Peers provide health and wellness support when issues are hard to manage alone. Wellness Peers are trained to ensure a student's safety and care are a priority. They are well-informed resources and supports on and off campuses and can direct you to needed spaces.
For social well-being, our Wellness Peers offer a space to connect over honest and fun topics each month. This is an opportunity to meet like-minded students, discuss health and wellness topics, play games, and socialize.
Our spaces provide sexual health info, freebies (condoms, pregnancy kits, dental dams, lube samples) as well as free naloxone kits.
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm
First Floor, Student Union Building
If you are interested in using the space (A-1302) between May and August, please email studentwellness@ufv.ca with at least 5 business days' notice.
"The physical Wellness Centre space is made to help everyone feel calm, included, and safe. It is lit up by lamps, not harsh fluorescent lights. There are lots of pillows, blankets, and soft, squishy things to cuddle. It is a wonderful space to find some peace and quiet!I would recommend this space to all students; sometimes we need a space to de-stress that is not filled with other people. "
- Jada M, BSW student (3rd year)
